Dark but not bleak
As mentioned before, I’m here for the eldritch entities, hauntings, black castles and cultists. I’m not here to make good use of the mature tag or to explore the bottomless depravities of the human condition.
While a little bit of shock value can be good for the story, we’re not here to dwell on it, make you visibly cringe or put the book down because it filled you with dread.
